  • Student access to digital book and LearningLinks

  • Instructors only required to teach one class per year

CPR and AED for the Community is a combined CPR and AED program designed specifically for laypeople.
The program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and is based upon the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) and other evidence-based treatment recommendations.

Basic First Aid was created to help students develop basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond.
The program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and is consistent with recommendations of the 2010 National First Aid Science Advisory Board and OSHA’s best practices for first aid training programs in the workplace.

Combination CPR, AED and Basic First Aid Student Handbook comes with one CPR / AED / BFA card. Great tool for Instructors wishing to present both programs with one book.

CPR Pro for the Professional Rescuer program is designed for individuals in the healthcare of professional rescuer field that are required to have a professional-level basic life support training.
Bloodborne Pathogens awareness program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others.

Emergency Oxygen administration program is a critical step in treating a severe or life-threatening illness or injury which often cause oxygen to be depleted in the body leaving the victim at risk for cardiac arrest or brain damage.

Emergency Medical Response for Adults in the Workplace is a combined CPR, AED, and basic first aid training program focused on the knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency care for suddenly ill or injured adults between the incident and arrival of emergency medical care professionals.

The Child & Babysitting Safety (CABS) program stresses the priority to keep you and the children you care for safe. Babysitting is not just “watching” the children, but being responsible for their safety and well being.

This comprehensive 16-20 hour course is ideal for Instructors certified to teach CPR/AED, basic first aid, and have wilderness experience.  The program meets the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid curriculum and guidelines.

The Wilderness Emergency Care (WEC) program supports a family of courses to meet the needs of everyone with outdoor interests, from easy day trips to challenging and technical activities, including wilderness rescue.

ASHI has collaborated with leading publishers of academic and reference textbooks, to provide the best-selling First Responder books on the market:
First Responder by J. David Bergeron and Gloria Bizjak.
Emergency First Responder: Making the Difference by Will Chapleau, EMT-P, RN, TNS.

ASHI ACLS has been found acceptable for meeting requirements established by a wide variety of professional associations, councils, academies, and medical boards.

ASHI PALS is intended for emergency personnel in intensive care or critical care departments and emergency medical providers responsible for the well-being of infants and children.
